Sustainable Style Foundation

The Sustainable Style Foundation (SSF) is a Seattle, Washington-based international nonprofit organization that promotes sustainable design and sustainable living.

Co-founded in 2003 by Sean Schmidt and Rebecca Luke, SSF also publishes a quarterly online magazine called SASS and hosts the annual Outstanding Sustainable Style Achievement (OSSA) Awards. In 2007, SSF launched SSFtags, a producer- and consumer-friendly labeling program. In 2008, SSF launched SID, The Sustainable Industry & Design Institute, Museum, and Hall of Fame. Sharon Lawrence, Angela Lindvall, Summer Rayne Oakes, and Alex Thomason are SSF Style Ambassadors.
